The Chicago festival scene just got another member. React Presents has unveiled its second major summer festival titled Mamby On The Beach. True to its name, the two-day affair is better suited for the outdoor summer months with an electronic and synth-pop geared lineup that is geared away from the mainstage and more towards the pool or beach. Passion Pit and Empire Of The Sun lead the 2015 lineup, but will be joined by the likes of Art Department, Cashmere Cat, Classixx, James Murphy and others.

While the lineup is dominated by less mainstream electronic acts, there will be plenty of live acts that have an appeal at a dance music festival like the aforementioned Empire Of The Sun and Passion Pit, as well as, Royksopp, Phantogram and Com Truise.

Chicago is not known as a sunshine and beach destination, but during the summer spending time on Lake Michigan is one of the more enjoyable things you can do in the city. The festival will be capitalizing on that fact by situating themselves along Oakwood Beach right up next to South Lake Shore Drive.

React Presents has developed a very strong presence for festivals in Chicago. They have already announced their two other festivals, Spring Awakening, which is led by names like Hardwell, Zedd, Jack Ü and Tiësto and North Coast Music Festival, which has D'Angelo, The Chemical Brothers, Porter Robinson and a mysterious rock band headlining.

Watch the trailer below, which shows off Oakwood Beach and what it will become this summer. The festival will take place on July 11-12. Head to Mamby on The Beach's website to purchase tickets, which start at $120 for a two-day pass.

See the full lineup poster and stay tuned for a few more names to be announced, which you can see are covered up on the flyer.
