Nearly four months after being found unresponsive in her bathtub, Bobbi Kristina Brown remains unconscious in an Atlanta facility with precious little hope for recovery. Up until this week, her father, Bobby Brown was in complete control of her care and was making all of the necessary literal life-and-death decisions. Now things are changing as the family seems to be settling in for a lengthy waiting game and Brown's aunt, Pat Houston has been named as her co-guardian.

According to multiple media outlets, "In a joint statement issued Friday, Bobby Brown and Pat Houston stated, 'We are delighted to inform the public that the Court has appointed Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as Co-Guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown ("Krissi"). Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi's care and medical needs.' As well, attorney Bedelia Hargrove has been appointed as the conservator for Bobbi Kristina, making her responsible for her assets, including her likeness, rights and legal claims." explains a source.

Do you think that this step was taken so that the Houston family can try to have some control over things and help to balance out Bobby's unwavering belief that God is going to work a miracle and save his daughter? Will Whitney Houston's side of the family ultimately act as kind of a voice of reason in this absolutely devastating medical crisis? Did they decide that it was necessary to have a say so that Brown isn't left in an unresponsive state for months or even years? Cissy Houston recently gave an interview and said that her side of the family was ready to let Brown go way back in March.

Do you think that there really is a battle going on behind the scenes over what should ultimately happen to Brown given the condition that she has been in for months? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
