K-Pop act Big Bang is coming to the United States for what Billboard is calling a "massive" tour, although by now American fans know to take that with a grain of salt. Although this is a relatively huge run for a K-Pop act across the Pacific, the entire run will focus on major markets and consist of six shows. Still, hardcore fans will take whatever opportunity they can get to check out G-Dragon, Taeyang and co., especially right after Big Bang releases its new album Made during September.

Tickets will go on sale June 12.

The band announced the worldwide "Made" tour to go along with the forthcoming album, and declared that it would be dropping new music periodically up to the release of the album as a whole. The tracks "Loser" and "Bae Bae" didn't take too long to gather traction, coming in this week at nos. 1 and 2 on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart.

The band will play a pair of shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ...just a few short months after the venue hosts the first rendition of KCON New York.

The relatively lengthy tour for Big Bang may be representative of a larger trend over at YG Entertainment, one of the biggest labels in South Korean music. Another group from that label's roster, Epik High, will also be embarking on a long tour in the United States. The band will play 11 shows in America this summer, making it the largest K-Pop tour on our shores since 2010 (when the Wonder Girls went on a 20-date run through the U.S.). Granted, Epik High will also be playing much smaller venues than Big Bang.
