Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine suffered a foot injury earlier this year, but now she's about to take over for another leg-injured rock star. After Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg at a concert in Sweden earlier this week, the "Congregation" band was forced to cancel a slew of tour dates. And now, it's been announced that Florence + The Machine will take over the Foos' headlining spot at Glastonbury 2015.

"Once we heard Foo Fighters had been forced to pull out, there was only one person we wanted to call and that was Florence," Glastonbury organizer Emily Eavis told BBC News. "Every time she has played here she's done something spectacular and we always knew she would headline the Pyramid one day."

Florence + The Machine's new headlining spot at Glastonbury will be the band's first time leading the massive U.K. fest. It also marks a much-deserved promotion for Welch, who has been snubbed for headlining spots at Governors Ball, Coachella and more this year on the festival circuit. The band is currently on the road in support of its new June album How Big How Blue How Beautiful.

Foo Fighters were forced to pull out of Glastonbury after Grohl injured his leg by falling off the stage at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden on Friday, June 12. A note on Foo Fighters' official website alerts fans that Grohl had surgery on Monday (June 15) but his healing time is "still to be determined." As of now, Foo Fighters have cancelled the following live engagements through June:

June 19 & 20 - London, UK @ Wembley Stadium
June 23 - Edinburgh, UK @ BT Murrayfield Stadium
June 25 - Werchter, Belgium @ Festivalpark Werchter
June 26 - Glastonbury Festival 2015
