The Chemical Brothers have unveiled another track from their upcoming album Born In The Echoes. The new track "Under Neon Lights" features the indelible St. Vincent, who was one of the biggest features named on the UK electronic music duo's eighth artist album. "Under Neon Lights" is a vintage lo-fi, trippy and grungy production from Rowlands and Simons, and St. Vincent's haunting vocals mesh right in.
We're always looking to work with likeminded people who do something a bit different to us," said Tom Rowlands of working with St. Vincent in a press release. "Annie is an amazing artist who was very up for experimenting."
"Under Neon Lights" is accompanied by a far out visualizer video, which if you had your recommended daily dose of LSD for breakfast, then this would be perfect. Watch the video below.
The Chemical Brothers will release Born In The Echoes on July 17. The album is slim on features, but it does call on well-respected musicians like Beck, St. Vincent and Q-Tip. "Under Neon Lights" joins previously released singles "Sometimes I Feel Deserted" and "Go" featuring Q-Tip.
The Chemical Brothers are in the midst of an extensive summer tour in support of the new LP. They will be performing at a litany of different European and American festivals this summer including Ultra Europe, Electric Zoo and Bestival. See the full list of tour dates below.
