The 24-year-old man who died late Saturday night after attending this past weekend's 2015 Electric Daisy Carnival has been identified by the coroner as Nicholas Austin Tom of San Francisco.

According to local Fox Affiliate KVVU, the Clark County Coroner's office have placed the time of death for Tom at 3:25 a.m. on Sunday morning. His death occurred during the second of three nights at the festival. The cause of death is still uncertain and toxicology report may take a couple of weeks before medical examiner gets the results back.

Las Vegas Metro Police reported that 408 individuals were treated in some capacity during the second night of EDC, which saw 135,000 people in attendance. Most of the calls were minor according to police. Seven individuals were taken to the hospital including the deceased.

Temperatures peaked at 113 degrees Fahrenheit on Saturday and cooled off only slightly as the sun set over Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Free water refill stations were available throughout the festival grounds and safety was a point of emphasis this year for Insomniac events. Local emergency responders made it clear that they wanted attendees to stay hydrated in the extreme heat.

On Sunday, Insomniac Events released a statement extending their sympathies to the friends and family of the victim.

"We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the man who passed away. The health and safety of our fans is Insomniac's first priority and we take every measure to create a safe environment."

Stay tuned for further updates including the cause of death for Nicholas Austin Tom.

Last year three festival-related deaths were reported stemming from the Electric Daisy Carnival. Two individuals were found in their lodging and another was found in the parking lot after night one.
