The dust has barely settled over Las Vegas Motor Speedway from the nearly 500,000 pairs of dancing feet at Electric Daisy Carnival and the company who throws the festival, Insomniac Events, has already announced a brand new massive which will take place at the end of the year. Insomniac has announced a fresh expansion beyond its traditional base in the United States southward to Brazil for EDC Brasil. The event will take place over two days, Dec. 4-5.

EDC Brasil will make its debut at São Paolo's Autódromo de Interlagos. The move to Brazil follows prior ventures abroad including those in London and Mexico.

"Hosting EDC in Brazil is fulfilling my longtime dream of taking the festival to the beautiful continent of South America," said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac in a statement via Billboard. "Insomniac and our local partners will work hard to plan a truly unique experience and I'm excited for more Headliners across the globe to join in."

The 90-foot Kinetic field, first premiered in Las Vegas in 2014, travels as the massive main stage to each of the festivals such as EDC New York this past Memorial Day, will make another appearance this December in Brazil.

Insomniac Events has partnered with South American entertainment company Time For Fun to put on the event.

"We are very proud of being in this promising market of electronic festivals with an event of this magnitude. We intend to offer to the Brazilian audience a superlative experience and a lineup never before seen in Brazil," said Fernando Alterio, President of Time For Fun.
