It's festival season and you're damn right we're hypothesizing who'll be headlining various festivals, even it they're overseas and impossible for us to attend. Two of the headliners for this year's Glastonbury festival have already been announced, but London newspaper The Mirror reported this weekend that Prince will be the final headlining performer, at least according to anonymous sources.

"They met in London and a deal was struck," the source reported. "The reaction towards Prince during his time in the capital has been immense and it cemented his desire to play at Glastonbury. He is determined to raise the bar and give a set to remember. There will be a few surprises in store."

Prince has been spending quite a bit of time in London recently, playing a series of small, surprise shows. He'll be playing two more gigs in the city over the next couple days—at KOKO and Ronnie Scott's—and one more show at a yet-unannounced venue in Manchester. He probably won't spend the entire four months leading up to the festival in England, but you never know. He's a curious cat.

Arcade Fire was the first act to publicly announce its headlining role, doing so midway through December. Kasabian, an indie rock act bigger across the pond (but worth checking out), subsequently announced its headlining slot on January 14. Although Prince's crew hasn't confirmed any rumors, concertgoers should expect the third headliner to be announced in the next couple days.

Those yet to get their tickets are out of luck however: Tickets sold out in 1.5 hours when they went on sale in October.
