Although Future is currently promoting his upcoming project, Dirty Sprite 2, which drops on July 17, this didn't stop the Atlanta rapper from addressing his very public break up with ex-fiancee R&B songstress, Ciara. The two have remained very mum on the topic of what brought the "body party" to a screeching halt, while many fans speculated it was due to Future's infidelities. However, in a recent interview with Huffington Post, the "Blow a Bag" rapper revealed some surprising details on what caused the two to part, which apparently roused a response out of Ciara.
Almost a year after their very private break up, Future finally revealed the reason why he and the "I Bet" crooner called it quits just three months after their little one, Future Zahir Wilburn, was born. According to Future, the pair's parting ways didn't have anything to do with cheating, but that they simply "drifted apart."
During a segment of the interview when Future was asked to weigh in on the topic of Ciara and her new beau, Russell Wilson's, pact to remain abstinent, he definitely overshared on the topic, stating, "God told me something else. He ain't tell me to wait. I guarantee you that," Future said. "We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That's a true story."
This naturally exacted a heated response from the mother of his child. Ciara immediately took to Twitter to subtweet Future about his flippant remarks.
