Nate Ruess is holding his own in the new music video for "Great Big Storm." Yesterday (July 14), the fun. frontman dropped another epic, dramatic and emotional visual from his debut solo record Grand Romantic, and now he's taking to the streets with the help of a high school marching band.

Pulling from the song's booming trumpets and thrashing percussion instrumentation, Ruess first emerges onto what appears to be a Brooklyn street looking forlorn. But, as the music kicks in, eventually he brings in his signature wild performance style, taking to the streets, smiling waving and flailing like the passionate singer he is.

All the while Ruess is singing, a high school marching band complete with a pack of majorettes follows him, playing along to the song's massive music. As the parade carries on, the rain starts to pour and even more people join in on Ruess' fun, including dancers, passersby and more. "Great Big Storm" ends up being a bit of a great big party.

At some point, Ruess even gains total control by jumping on top of a car and shouting into a megaphone, because why not?
