The Weeknd debuted a new track, reportedly titled "Mood Music 2," last night, and it sounds like it'll follow the path of his recent smash hits "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills" -- to the top of the charts. Beauty Behind the Madness, which arrives August 28, will likely be The Weeknd's most successful album yet.

The "Earned It" singer arrived via helicopter to Osea Island, off the coast of eastern England, to perform an intimate show in front of about 400 people put on by Island Records UK, the company that handles his UK releases.

Performing in a former bomb factory, the XO founder warmed up the British crowd with old favorites like "High for This," from his coming out mixtape House of Balloons, before moving on to his Beauty Behind the Madness singles "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills," which sit at No. 2 and No. 10 on the charts, respectively. He then performed an unreleased BBTM track, "Mood Music 2," which a lucky concertgoer caught footage of -- watch below.

Well, it's not much of performance, as The Weeknd lets the new track play out while he saunters around on stage, but it is a relatively high-quality rip of what could be the next single off BBTM. For just the stream, listen below.

The track begins as a depressed love song, but the bass slowly picks up until we get a massive drop to coincide with the chorus (around 1:25), as The Weeknd lets all his emotions rage, singing: "I'm a prisoner to my addiction / I'm addicted to a life that's so empty and so cold / I'm a prisoner to my decisions..."

The dark subject matter is nothing new for Abel -- ya gotta feel for the guy -- but his songwriting, as well as his productions, continue to move full-steam into pop territory, and we can't get enough.

Pre-order Beauty Behind the Madness here ahead of its Aug. 28 release date.
