Lindsay Ell

Lindsay Ell has it all - looks, a voice, great songwriting skills and mad guitar skills. Check out her debut video and you'll see it all come together for the total package.

She explained her intro to the world of country to Country Weekly, saying, "I’m a guitar player, so it has a lot of guitar in it. And I’ve always been told I’m this happy, smiley girl, so having a song that was positive and happy was really important to me."

The video premiered this week on CMT and it's already getting rave reviews. Though she makes it look effortless, a lot of hard work and long hours went into the shoot which had award-winning director Roman White (the man responsible for bringing out the very best in Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Blake Shelton on camera) in the director's chair. She told CMT, "Roman is such a dream to work with. When the label first sent over the treatment that Roman wrote for the video, they were like, 'Now, Lindsay, don't freak out, but in the opening scene of the video, you're gonna be in a bedroom.' So I was like, 'Guys, I can't be in a bedroom in the first scene of my first music video! People are gonna think I'm crazy. They're gonna be like, 'Who is this chick?' But the first couple of hours on the set, Roman was so sweet. He came up to me and said, 'Girl, we're not gonna do anything you are uncomfortable with. We're just gonna make something really beautiful."'
