The Faces—a group featuring Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood—have finally figured out a legitimate reunion date, after years of cancelled plans and false alarms. The band's remaining members will join together for a gig at this year's Rock 'n' Horsepower concert in Surrey. It's not too surprising a gig, as Stewart and drummer Kenney Jones have organized the event for the last three years. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Prostate Cancer UK charity.

"This is the third Rock 'n' Horsepower we've put on for Prostate Cancer UK and it's shaping up to be the biggest yet," Jones said in a statement. "The years of the Faces were some of the best of my life and I'm so proud to have been a part of the band. I'm unbelievably excited to have the opportunity to get up on stage with Rod and Ronnie again."

Life has been good for the three surviving members of the original lineup since The Faces put out its last album during 1973. Stewart, of course, has gone on to massive success as a solo performer in the years since The Faces split. Wood joined up with The Rolling Stones during 1975 and has been with the band for the last 40 years. Jones is certainly less famous than those two but he's gotten along, serving as the percussionist for The Who for a decade following Keith Moon's death in 1978.

This won't be the first reunion show for The Faces, per se, but it will be with all of the surviving original members in tow. The band actually went on tour with Mick Hucknall in place of Stewart as vocalist during 2011. Rumors of the full reunion have been ongoing since 2012, when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Stewart backed out at the last moment due to an unlucky case of the flu. Keyboard player Ian McLagan died in 2014 after having a stroke, while bassist Ronnie Lane died of pneumonia during 1997, a result of his struggles with multiple sclerosis.

We've got to imagine the remaining trio has more dates in mind. Keep an eye out.
