Could a Spice Girls reunion be in the works for 2016? If Mel B (a.k.a. Scary Spice) has anything to say about it, the answer would be yes. During the promotional cycle for her TV show America's Got Talent, the '90s girl group icon and talent judge admitted that she would love to get back together for the group's 20th anniversary.

Buzz about a potential new Spice Girls reunion first launched earlier this week, when Mel B appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Of course, the subject of her famous girl group came up and she said that she's always pushing to get back together with Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton.

"I would love to get back together and do something with the Spice Girls," she said, totally bluntly.

And, as Billboard reports, Mel B was once again on board for a Spice Girls 20 reunion on Today Tuesday morning (Aug. 4).

"When you say it's our 20th anniversary coming up, it does make you think, 'Oh, my gosh, it really has been that long." she said. "Hopefully, we'll gather the troops around, and we'll get to do something to celebrate it next year. It's in my plan, I don't know about anybody else's."

If a new Spice Girls reunion is set to happen, it wouldn't be the first time the group reunited since initially disbanding in 2000. In 2007 and '08, the Spice Girls went on a worldwide tour, selling out arenas in mere seconds. Spice Girls also briefly reunited in 2012 for the London Olympics.
