Bronx femcee Remy Ma has been home for a year since her six-and-a-half year stint in prison and is already making huge strides within the hip-hop community once again. The self-proclaimed Bronx Bombshell and rapper hubby Papoose have already signed on to be apart of hit reality show, Love & Hip Hop NY, this season, which should definitely make for an interesting watch to see the hip-hop husband and wife duo in their element. Remy is back in the lab, cooking up some heat and apparently taking shots at the reigning queen of rap, Nicki Minaj. in her new "Poppin” freestyle with DJ Suss One.
The Bronx raptress is back and better than ever. The femcee who was known as pretty grizzly battle rapper in her day, gets into the booth with Suss One and spits bars of straight fire, taking aim at the current women within hip-hop. In Remy’s bars she references her own real-life demons, of going to prison behind shooting a former friend, being married to her partner-in-crime Papoose, as well as her seeing through some of the counterfeit when it comes to fellow rappers within hip-hop.
Although this is just a taste of what we can expect from the fence, as she dropped the I’m Around mixtape shortly after her release from prison a year ago.
Remy is now working on new projects and has already begun filming for the upcoming season of LHHNY which will feature her hard at work alongside her hubby and son rebuilding her career as a leading femcee within the hip-hop world.
