Miley Cyrus is known for her outlandish behavior, garnering a rather large fan base as well as a crowd of haters. The twerking sensation hit the Los Angeles streets as an undercover reporter on Jimmy Kimmel Live! To interview Americans on their thoughts concerning the former Disney channel star turned twerk queen.

Kimmel explained that the "I Witness News" segment could get awkward very fast should the singer's Australian reporter persona run into any Cyrus protesters but she never once broke character or lost her fake accent, Rolling Stone reports. One interviewee on the street took shots at the entire Cyrus family but later added, "I think she's starving for attention and that's why she's doing it all crazy like that. She's missing something somewhere."

"In her heart, probably," Cyrus replied in the video below. "In her deep soul."

The awkwardness carried on at the Bangerz singer chatted with a man who liked Cyrus, but preferred Taylor Swift. Another woman explained, "I think she lost her mind in the Hollywood madness." Cyrus eventually ran into two teens willing to sing the chorus of her hit, "We Can't Stop," before joining in on a twerk session with the "reporter" named Janet. The entire gag came to a close with one man divulging to Janet, "I think you're Miley Cyrus right now."

"That look like Miley Cyrus?" she responded, giving the man a peep down her shirt. "Looks like Miley Cyrus, doesn't it? I need you to keep that on the DL, but it's Miley Cyrus' t*tties. Janet up here, Miley down here."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer who is slated to host the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday also sat down for a chat with Kimmel in which they discussed her expected, yet revealing glitzy and rainbow colored outfit choice and what her father, Billy-Ray Cryus, thinks of it. "He'd rather me have my t*ts out and be a good person, than have a shirt on and be a b*tch."

She continued to detail her time at the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and how her outfit choice managed to make the Beatles' Paul McCartney nervous. "I was there and we were talking to Paul McCartney, and I saw him not knowing how to talk to me," Cyrus said. "Which, I don't really know how to talk to Paul McCartney, so it made me really comfortable because it made him more uncomfortable."

Tune into the Video Music Awards this Sunday to see what outrageous outfits and quirky behaviors Cyrus has in store for the live audience and viewers worldwide.
