Electric Daisy Carnival has announced the dates and pre-sale information for the 20th year anniversary of the Insomniac Events flagship festival in Las Vegas. The three-day festival will take place from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale in less than two weeks on Sept. 21, starting at $335 plus $42 in fees.

Once the early bird tickets sell out, which they inevitably will, prices will jump up to $355 plus fees and then starting on Oct. 1 an additional $32 tax will be passed along to the consumers.

This is the earliest EDC has started to sell tickets and according to Pasquale Rotella it is because of the Nevada state government. Earlier this year, the state government passed a law that amended the Live Entertainment Tax, which has been in place since 2004, but never impacted major events in the state like EDC, Burning Man or Life Is Beautiful. Now after the new amendment a new 9 percent increase has been subjected to operators and is being subsequently passed along to consumers. It goes into effect Oct. 1, which is why Insomniac is releasing its tickets extra early this year.

"I know how much you guys sacrifice and save to make it out to EDC every year, and it's important for me to give you as many options as possible this year," explains Rotella. "I want you all with us as we celebrate 20 Years Under the Electric Sky!"

This past June, EDC Las Vegas featured some of the biggest DJs in the world like Avicii, Above & Beyod, Kaskade, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz and Calvin Harris.
