Phil Taggart invited Tame Impala's Kevin Parker onto his BBC Radio 1 program late Sunday night to pick some tunes designed to get listener's minds off the coming Monday grind and help them fall asleep with Parker's "Bedtime Mix," which included Frank Ocean, Panda Bear, Air, Gotye, King Crimson, Kaftwerk and The Flaming Lips.

The program started with a brief conversation about Parker's tour and his work with Mark Ronson before getting to the trippy chilled out music he selected.

Right from the start, you can hear how these songs have influenced Parker's own music. From ambient electronics to soothing bass lines and pan flute, this playlist has a little bit for everyone.

Like everyone else, Taggart and Parker are very excited for a new Frank Ocean album, making it no surprise that "Thinkin' Bout You" made it onto the playlist. Suggestions of an Ocean, Parker collaboration were even thrown around.

"Who knows what could happen, that would be amazing," Parker said.

Tame Impala's 2015 album Currents has been making waves for its spacy kaleidoscopic tracks that fuse dance beats, electronic music and psychedelic rock for a trippy album. Despite its mind-expanding powers, Currents might still be too hard an album lull you into a deep slumber.

"Making a chilled-out playlist is not something I do regularly," Parker said, "but having been asked to do it, I'm looking back at the playlist now, and I may actually put this on tonight when I go to bed."
