Super producer Timbaland has always been pretty confident-and he has the right to be. However, in a recent interview with Revolt TV Timbaland made controversial comments regarding Drake and Chris Brown's songs with his late protégé Aaliyah. Timbaland said collaborations with Aaliyah "don't work" unless they are with him. After receiving backlash for his comments, Timbaland offered an explanation for his comments and an apology to Chris Brown via Twitter Thursday night.

Timbaland all but bashed Chris Brown for "Don't Think They Know," telling REVOLT TV: "In music, people always say, "I'ma do a song with Aaliyah," Timbaland told Revolt TV. "It will never work. A lot of these rappers out here are awful. Chris Brown got a record; it won't work. Drake could do a record with Aaliyah; it ain't going to work." Timabland said. "Aaliyah music only work with its soul-mate, which is me."

What do you of Chris Brown's "Don't Think They Know:"
