Though we still don't have much news on a release date regarding Cloud Imperium's highly anticipated Star Citizen video game, that doesn't mean 2015 doesn't hold news regarding gameplay, behind-the-scenes videos and, as we learned this week, impressive voice actor cast announcements! Thanks to the amazing support starting from the studio's Kickstarter campaign and starting its own crowd funding on the game's official website, Star Citizen has one of the most interesting cast of Hollywood stars! Gary Oldman, Mark Strong, Mark Hamill, John Rhys Davies, Andy Serkis and Gillian Anderson are some of the big names that have their voices and likenesses in the gameplay. This impressive cast was officially revealed at the third annual CitizenCon this weekend, with behind-the-scenes footage confirming the actors that are featured in the highly anticipated game (via IGN / PC Gamer / Eurogamer).

Oldman, known for his roles director Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Batman trilogy and plenty of other performances, portrays the Admiral of Squadron 42 in Star Citizen. He is the first confirmed character of the game, and seems to be one of the more important characters. His moving speech featured below is the opening cinematic sequence of the game. Check it out right here:

You can also watch some behind-the-scenes footage featuring the new cast in motion-capture action for the game.
