The Weeknd's "The Hills" has had remarkable legs in 2015, outlasting fellow Beauty Behind The Madness summer smash "Can't Feel My Face" on the charts and topping it even after being released as a single in May. This is being helped along by two new remixes by Nicki Minaj and Eminen.

The Nicki Minaj remix was premiered live on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, so it isn't surprising to see it get an official release, but the real shocker was the addition of one from Eminem.

As he said in a tweet, the track was "too good to pass up" and he just had to remix the track.

Mathers does a proper remix of the song, keeping The Weeknd for the hooks and the seductive beat intact, but he takes over the verses with the time-tested wordplay of his own.

Eminem provides his own take on love, using the metaphor of drug abuse as his muse.

"I let you see my dark side, but like a mic check, you got one too / So when the sparks fly, we hit the flight deck and got sprung, pew / Like an ejector seat, from an F-15 / But tonight we don't need those pills, just the effects of each other"

It is actually quite rare for Eminem to hop on another song as a remix. He is known to do features on other tracks, but he rarely gets in on the act after the track has already been released. In the past he has done remixes for tracks like Busta Rhymes "Touch It" and Fat Joe's "Lean Back," but it is rare for him to venture into the remix territory.
