Zach Braff made a huge splash in the indie music world when he released the soundtrack to his first film, Garden State, in 2004, and now with his second movie Wish I Was Here, he's looking to do it again. Today (March 27), it was announced that Coldplay's Chris Martin and Cat Power will be teaming up to record the title track for the new independent movie.

According to EW, Chris Martin Penned a song (called "Wish I Was Here") for Power and the track will be the signature piece of the film.

However, when the movie debuted at Sundance, the track wasn't yet included in the cut. "It wasn't ready yet for Sundance. It's the title song of the movie. It's one of the most amazing songs ever," said Braff.

Though the Martin/Power collaboration wasn't heard, Wish I Was Here also includes new original music from Bon Iver, the Shins and other indie rock favorites, following in the footsteps of Garden State.

That soundtrack, which helped break the Shins to a wide audience, included superb music from Iron & Wine, Coldplay and Simon & Garfunkel. It took home the Grammy in 2005 for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture.

Wish I Was Here is the largely Kickstarter-funded followup to 2004's Garden State and Braff's second feature film. It's set to hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on July 18, spreading across the country starting the following Friday (July 25).
