Former NBA player Lamar Odom was reportedly popping multiple herbal Viagra pills before being found unconscious, and was allegedly in a calm state of mind before watching an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians where estranged wife Khloe was seen having a phone conversation with him and exiting a club quickly after hearing he was there, in a different scene.
TMZ is reporting that during Odom's stay at the Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South, he was reportedly "normal" and "chill" according to the ranch staff. According to the report, some of the women who were with Odom that night said he received a phone call from someone telling him to turn on the television and watch what was happening on the hit Bravo reality show, KUWTK. It was at that point that the NBA player became irate and reportedly remained upset for the remainder of the evening.
The gossip site reported that, according to the staff members that saw Odom and interacted with him from the time he checked in on Saturday, there were no signs of him being drunk on alcohol or high. According to the site, he ordered a single bottle of cognac upon his check-in and "a third of the bottle was left" when he was found unconscious. The staff and people at the ranch did say that Odom "had been using an herbal substitute for Viagra" during his stay, while others are citing that he was taking the actual "Viagra drug from a prescription bottle." TMZ reported that a source at the ranch recalls seeing Odom take at least eight to ten pills at a time.
Though sources are saying that the reality TV episode may have been what set him off in this situation, his estranged wife was right by his bed side at the hospital. KTLA reported that "Khloe Kardashian has been at the hospital by Odom's side since Tuesday night" as reported by a source to the site. "She asked that people keep him in their thoughts and prayers and respect his privacy."
Dennis Hof, owner of the Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South, where Odom was found unresponsive told authorities that Odom, 35, is not looking good and he's not sure if he'll make it, according to the news site.
As of now, his condition remains unclear.
