Canaan Smith Gets Engaged

Mercury Records singer/songwriter Canaan Smith has been exclusively dating his girlfriend Christy for some time, but now he is officially "off the market" as an engaged man! He popped the big question while the two were in Florida and she said, "Yes!"

Canaan is crazy about his lady love and looking forward to spending the rest of his life with her. "Of all the blessings in my life, she's the greatest,” he shared. “We're so excited for everything to come."

Of course, even wedding plans don't stop the music so Canaan is currently working on new music for his debut album when he's not on the road with Jana Kramer, Austin Webb, and Sam Hunt on the AT&T Country Deep Tour. With only seven shows left on the tour, he'll be home in no time, able to help plan away (or just nod in all the right places if he has decided to let Christy make all of the wedding day plans).
