The incoming coach isn't making any promises ahead of the game, but does offer plenty of advice to his new team.
"The bravery is to make mistakes," the new manager said, according to the PremierLeague.com match preview. "This is a fantastic game, football. We all love it because it can be spectacular, fast and hard. But it doesn't work without faults. We all, as human beings, think about them, but it's not important to think about how many mistakes you make. You can always get better, if you accept that mistakes will happen. It's not the biggest thing in the world."
It would certainly set precedence if Klopp came away from today's match with a victory, or even a draw. A loss, though, that's another issue.
Ben Davies of Tottenham understands that a new manager might make things difficult for his side today.
"Whenever a new manager comes in, every team tries to up their game but we've got to be ready for that and put our best foot forward," he said, according to his team's website.
