With a very busy touring schedule keeping him busy, DJ Snake does not release much music, but when he does, hits are unveiled to the world. Today, the "Turn Down For What" DJ unveiled a new single "Middle" featuring the talents of UK singer Bipolar Sunshine. The track is a primer for an upcoming artist album from the "Lean On" DJ, which is expected at some point next year.

DJ Snake takes a soft approach with this new track. "Middle" starts out with soft percussion, the soulful vocals of Bipolar Sunshine and summery chords. A bed of subtle bed of 808s and snare rolls are introduced, but don't overpower.

He uses similar techniques to what Diplo and Skrillex employed in their hit collab "Where Are Ü Now," taking the vocal from Bipolar Sunshine and pitching it up and distorting it to create a new sound that is one of the main elements of the hook.

"Middle" is the first taste of what to expect from DJ Snake's forthcoming debut album according to Complex. Until now the Parisian DJ has stuck to singles and remixes with remarkable success over the past three years. He has had multiple records go platinum worldwide, including "Turn Down For What," which announced his arrival to the world on a grand scale. He has followed that up with more big records like "Get Low" and the remix of "I Know You Like It," which really took off once Interscope signed the free download and put some backing behind it.
