One Direction may have just played its last show on the On the Road Again Tour before its lengthy 2016 hiatus, but don't worry, the band will be back. After the "Perfect" band's last show in Sheffield, England, over the weekend, 1D band member Niall Horan once again reassured fans that they'll be back.

One Direction's last On the Road Again Tour show was a massive celebration, Billboard reports. As the band played through its biggest hits and a few new Made in the A.M. tracks, the band was notably emotional. Liam Payne told the fans that "Basically, we're a mess," and the show ended with one massive final group hug.

And though the endless touring may be over for now, One Direction once again reassured fans that they will return to making new music and touring one day. Horan was clear on that point on his Twitter.

If you didn't have a chance to catch One Direction live on the On the Road Again Tour, don't worry. You won't have to wait for an undetermined amount of time to see them live. The band is set to perform its new single "Perfect" at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 21.
