This weekend marks first of two for the Coachella Music Festival, featuring one-of-if-not-the-most-stacked lineups in the festival business, which of course makes it one of the toughest tickets to get as well. Those who managed to nab seats when they went on sale are very lucky indeed, and we envy you. Many are willing to shell out beyond the face value of a three-day pass to get in, and some are willing to get paid thousands of dollars to get in. Wait, what?

Yup. Corporate sponsorship has allowed several A-listers to attend Coachella without you, and also to get paid for checking out one of the hottest lineups on Earth. The New York Daily News, not usually at the commendable end of celebrity reporting, has unearthed a number of attendees that will do so on someone else's buck.

For example: Lea Michele will be paid $20,000 by Lacoste to wear its wares whilst attending Coachella. Your correspondent has been described as "not knowing a damn thing about fashion," but he knows that getting paid $20,000 to wear clothes with a crocodile on them is good enough, much less getting paid that much to do so at Coachella. Vanessa Hudgens will also bag a reported $15,000 for representing McDonald's at the festival, although no one's sure what that deal entails. Eating Big Macs while walking around Coachella?

Multiple stars are publicly advertising themselves as available for advertising at the festival. Companies, you can have Aaron Paul for $15,000 and two VIP passes! Kate Bosworth is asking for "double that," so we're not sure if that means just $30,000 and two VIP passes, or $30,000 and four VIP passes. Fashion writer Louise Roe only wants $5,000, but she does need three tickets.

If you're at the show and you see one of the aforementioned celebrities at the show, do us a favor and scowl at them.
