Actress Stacey Dash is known for voicing her opinion whether it's popular or not. This time she is directing her latest opinion to actresses who complain about not receiving the same amount of money in their profession as men. According to Dash, actresses only have themselves to blame. She is speaking out to those actresses and sharing the secret to earning the same pay as male actors: It's all about negotiating.

BET reported how the Clueless actress spoke candidly about the gender pay gap in the acting profession, and gave her point of view on how to make a change. The report reflected on how actresses are paid "an average of 40 cents to the dollar compared to men in the entertainment industry." During the Tuesday, Nov. 10, episode of Fox's Outnumbered, Dash explained how women need to take responsibility for their wages or stop complaining about it.

According to The Wrap, Dash spoke with guest co-host Dean Cain and stated how actresses need to know their value and become better negotiators. The 40-year-old explained that things will begin to change once actresses figure out the difference between worth and value. 'There needs to be a demand for more aspirational leading female roles," the Mo' Money actress explained during the news segment. "This being said, there also needs to be an understanding of the difference between worth and value. You know, if you become valuable, if you know what your value is, then you're worth more. So that's what you have to figure out." Cain agreed with Dash, stating that when it comes to actors and actresses, the pay is totally "based on their worth and that's it."

The conversation began with the news of actress Sharon Stone's views on the gender pay gap. Reportedly, Stone spoke on how no one wanted to pay her after her seductive role in the film Basic Instinct. In the video clip, the news site reported how Stone cried to her manager "how she wasn't going to work until she got paid, and when she did, it was much less than men."
