The musical inspired by Tupac Shakur has finally found its star.

According to Vibe magazine, poet Saul Williams, who was featured in the film Slam will star in the future Broadway musical.

Producers of the "Holler If Ya Hear Me" play say the rest of the cast will include Tonya Pinkins, Christopher Jackson, Saycon Sengbloh, Ben Thompson and John Earl Jelks.

As previously reported, the plays description reads, "Holler If Ya Hear Me, the world inside Tupac Shakur's music and lyrics, blazes to life in a non-biographical story about friendship, family, revenge, change and hope. Inner city lives struggle for peace against the daily challenges they face in this entertaining and original musical. Through the poetry of one of the 20th century's most influential and culturally prominent voices, we are given a window into realities of the streets still relevant today."

"Holler If Ya Hear Me" will feature some of Pac's greatest hits like "California Love," "Keep Ya Head Up," and "Me Against the World."

The musical was written by Todd Kreidler and will be produced by Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, Eric L. Gold, Chunsoo Shin and Jessica Green.

"Holler If Ya Hear Me," directed by Kenny Leon, will premiere New York City's Palace Theatre May 26 and then will officially open June 19.

Leon's most notable Broadway work includes "A Raisin in the Sun" with Sean Combs, "Fences" with Denzel Washington and Viola Davis and "The Mountaintop" with Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett.
