Apparently, iLoveMakonnen's long awaited debut album has finally received an official release date. Ahead of the project's release, Makonnen shared a new song titled "Second Chance."

According to HipHopDX, iLoveMakonnen 2 will drop on Friday (Nov. 20). Back in August, the OVO Sound artist announced that the project would be released in October. Prior to that, he announced that the album was slated for a summer release.

Along with news of the album’s release date, Makonnen shared the first song from the album, "Second Chance", which is produced by DJ Mustard. The two collaborated earlier this year on "Why'd You Call?"

Makonnen previously spoke on working with DJ Mustard during an interview with Hot 97's Miss Info.

"I'm very excited about the songs I got with Mustard. I think they are going to be summer bangers, all of them. So I look forward [to it]. [The songs] are for my album and his album. We made some nice stuff in there to where it's going to cover both of us."

Makonnen's debut will also reportedly feature the likes of Drake, Diplo, Rihanna, Skrillex and Snoop Dogg. There's a song he wrote for Miley Cyrus floating around, too.

iLoveMakonnen 2 will serve as the follow-up to his iLoveMakonnen EP. He re-released the self-titled EP after signing to Drake's OVO Sound imprint. Drizzy announced the deal after remixing Makonnen's internet hit, "Tuesday,” which was later nominated for a Grammy.

The album will be his second release of the year following his latest mixtape, Drink More Water 5, which features guest spots from Gucci Mane, Migos and Rich The Kid.

Last month, he commemorated Gucci's 1017 Bricksquad label and paid homage to the incarcerated rapper with a track titled "Big Gucci."
