Amidst all of the horror, violence and tragedy over the past week from the cowardly violence perpetrated by a few men in Paris, we have seen a people come together and rally behind each other like very few times in recent memory. Paris has taken a blow, but will come back stronger than ever. Le Bataclan, the concert hall where the worst of the carnage took place has been shut down since the attacks on Friday with the police still investigating the scene, but club co-manager Dominique Revert assures everyone that it will reopen.

Speaking to Billboard, Revert does not give a timeline as to when Le Bataclan might open, but is firm that it will happen. "It will reopen, no question about it," he affirms. "Hearts will be heavy for a few months, a few years. But we will reopen. We will not surrender."

This is the second statement we have gotten from those associated from Le Bataclan after artists from around the world and all walks of life have expressed their deep sorrow for those who lost their lives in the unspeakable tragedy inside the concert hall. Among those killed inside were several label employees, including an executive at Mercury Records and a music journalist for Les InRocks.

The venue released a statement earlier this week about the attacks, saying, "No words are sufficient to express the magnitude of our grief. Our thoughts are with the victims, the wounded and their relatives."

Music Times looks forward to seeing Le Bataclan open again, hosting great musicians and bringing smiles to the faces of thousands of music fans from all over the City of Light.
