Adele's "Hello" flip phone is back. On Saturday (Nov. 21), the queen of fall 2015 will be performing on Saturday Night Live along with host Matthew McConaughey, and in the newly released promos, that viral little cell phone makes a reappearance.
Adele only appears in two brief SNL promos alongside McConaughey and comedian Cecily Strong. In the first video, she doesn't speak. Instead, she and Strong have to stand idly by while McConaughey rambles on about something or another and UFOs, despite being told to keep his commercial short and sweet.
In the second promo, Adele gets a little bit more of the spotlight. A little cell phone starts to ring, and McConaughey answers the phone, which turns out to be the very same old school flip phone featured in Adele's music video for "Hello." When McConaughey answers the phone, however, some tensions arise when the call is for, shocker, Adele and not poor Cecily Strong.
Adele will be appearing on this week's episode of SNL. It will be her second appearance on the show; she previously performed in 2008 in support of her debut album 19.
Adele is one of many musicians to take the stage during SNL's 41st season. Other acts have included Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Sia and Disclosure with Lorde and Sam Smith.
The 2015 shows of SNL will continue strong through December. Leon Bridges, Chance the Rapper and Bruce Springsteen are all slated to perform next month.
As for Adele, her highly anticipated new album 25 is out now, but if you want to listen to it, you have to buy it.
