Wedding bells are in the air for The Hills star Audrina Patridge and her longtime boyfriend Corey Bohan. According to a recent People report, the former MTV reality star has officially got engaged after Bohan surprised her during a restaurant proposal on Friday night (Nov. 20) at the Summit House in Orange County, California.

The 30-year-old has been dating the BMX dirt bike rider off-and-on since 2008. When she wasn't dealing with a roller coaster of emotions with ex-boyfriend, Justin "Bobby" Brescia, Patridge was often seen mentioning Bohan on the teen reality-drama series between seasons four through six.

Staying true to American society's old fashioned tradition of seeking permission from the parents, Bohan made sure to ask Patridge's father for his daughter's hand in marriage three weeks before making a reservation at Summit House Restaurant. The 33-year-old then began to brainstorm ideas about how to organize a romantic dinner, that would also include her family being there, according to People.

When it came down to the big night, Patridge admitted to growing slightly suspicious when the two of them awaited the arrival of their cheesecake dessert. Before she knew it, their server approached the table holding a silver platter with a silver cover. Fancy way to serve cheesecake right?

Their late night dessert caused quite a commotion in the eatery. Patridge noticed waitresses gathering around with their phones. The server lifted the silver cover, unveiling a ring sitting in a black box, surrounded by white rose petals.

"Then Corey dropped to his knee and said, 'We have been together for many years now and I love you more than anything. I want to spend the rest of my life with you - will you marry me?' I was in shock and kind of didn't even hear him but I said yes!"

Bohan reportedly had the ring specially crafted in Australia. Patridge shared a beautiful picture of her engagement ring on her personal blog.

That wasn't her only surprise of the night. Patridge's family reportedly popped out from a secluded part of the restaurant to join in on the celebration with champagne and congratulatory messages.
