Katy Perry is over trying to save Rihanna from more heartache, even though she "loves" her celebrity best-friend.
Perry told Elle UK, "I love her [Rihanna] and every time I see her, I'm reminded of the light that she has," she told the magazine. "There's a lot of dark in this business. I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages - they are the root of their demise." She added, "It's really unfortunate but you can't save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over."
Rihanna may need a friend now more than ever after Chris Brown told Hollywoodlife, "[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single!" He added, "I'm still good friends with them," Chris said referring to Tran and Rihanna.
The singer decided to stay away from the girl drama and put more attention on his work, "[Now] it's just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I'm in my prime."
Rihanna doesn't buy his friendship line as posting an Instagram message saying, "I hate when ex's say... 'I'm here if you need me.' Where the F**k were you when we were together and I needed you?"
