Just a day after Yolanda Foster and husband David Foster announced their divorce, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed this tough time won't break her. On Thursday (Dec. 3), Yolanda shared a motivational message with her Twitter followers about remaining positive through hard times.

Despite suffering through an emotional split from her husband of four years, Yolanda refuses to let the reality of her relationship's current state get the best of her. Earlier this morning, she posted a "note to self," that not only served as a personal reminder, but also as words of encouragement to her social media followers.

After getting engaged on Christmas Eve in 2010, the two married the following year in a Beverly Hills wedding. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The 51-year-old former model and the 66-year-old songwriter and record producer issued a joint statement on Tuesday (Dec. 1) detailing their surprising divorce.

"Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple told People. "We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."

According to Us Weekly, the two have been "separated for months" but kept their relationship quiet until they could decide how to publicly handle going their separate ways. Issues of David's busy work schedule, trying to maintain a long-distance relationship, and her debilitating battle with Lyme disease reportedly all played a factor in their marriage's demise.

During the season six premiere of Bravo's RHOBH, it was revealed that David's absence really affected her. A source told Us Weekly, Yolanda didn't feel her husband "was there for her" or around enough since she's been sick, citing that's when things got really difficult.

Yolanda was previously married to real-estate entrepreneur Mohamed Hadid and they share three children together: models Gigi, Bella, and son Anwar. David has been previously married three times and is the father of five daughters.

"We've grown apart but my love & respect for @officialdfoster is still the same," Yolanda Tweeted. "He's been very good 2 me so pls don't judge our journey!"
