"It was already in the media - [Marcos] Rojo has been injured," the manager told MUTV. "It's his shoulder, the same as last year, in a training session. It's very unfortunate, also in the position of Luke Shaw, so I have a great problem. Also the injury of Wayne Rooney is more heavy [serious] than we thought, so neither can play. That's it I think. Jesse Lingard is coming back which is good news. Phil Jones is still injured so we have six injuries. It's a nasty injury. It's been getting worse but we have to let him train to make the ankle stronger, that's very important. I cannot say [how long he's out for] because the doctor shall decide that with Wayne of course. He is training well in the rehabilitation."
Meanwhile, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic praised his opponents, denying unpopular opinion of Manchester's current condition.
"They're not conceding goals and somebody said they are boring, but they are not a team that is giving you the ball and defending," he said, according to PremierLeague.com. "Especially at home, when the opponents are defending with numbers and are compact, you can't play very vertically. You need gaps and space behind or in between the lines of the opponent. That's hard to find. We can call it controlled football, we can call it patient football, but it is so far very effective because they are sitting good in the table."
