"They a team that has a good mentality," manager Roberto Martinez of Everton said of his opponents today, according to The Daily Mail. "They have won at Stamford Bridge and Anfield this season and they have got pace and power that is difficult to stop. They are dynamic and very competitive. It is going to be a difficult. We want to aim for perfection. We need to get through the middle third of the competition and the improvement is always there. For the next block of games, it is vital we focus on the PL. That is the focus we have. Our fans are loving the style but we will never stop wanting to improve."
Palace's Wilfried Zaha was shown a yellow card in their last game for diving, which means he's missing today's game. Coach Alan Pardew has reportedly told him to cut out the diving and to regain his focus.
"He is having a great season for us," the manager said. "He has been instrumental in a lot of our victories. I've been very pleased with him, but it's a tiny aspect of his game he needs to correct."
