The 1975's new album I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It is still two and a half months away, but that doesn't mean the English pop rockers are keeping all the new material under wraps. On Friday (Dec. 11), Matty Healy and co. released the band's second track, the funk-infused ode to cocaine, "UGH!"

"I'm not giving it up!" Healy exclaims at the end of the chorus over a (fittingly) '70s style funk beat. This is, in a way, The 1975 at its roots, infusing together tight hooks with a lyrical bite this is simultaneously dark underneath the surface and the sort of earworm that can't necessarily get out of your head.

"And you're the only thing that's going on in my mind / Taking over my life a second time / I don't have the capacity for f*cking / You're meant to be helping me," Healy sings with a strain in his voice and building passion in the chorus.

"UGH!" packs more of a punch than I Like It When You Sleep... lead single "Love Me," both in its upbeat tempo and it's slightly more sinister lyrics.

"UGH!" is the second song to be released from The 1975's sophomore album I Like It When You Sleep... the album will be released on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016. I Like It When You Sleep... follows the release of The 1975's self-titled 2013 album and its breakout single "Chocolate."
