Lil B is known first and foremost for his impact on music as a member of The Pack and then going solo and rising up to the Based God. However his connection to basketball has become well-known, using his almighty curse on players like Kevin Durant and James Harden and putting his support behind the NBA champion and currently undefeated Golden State Warriors. In a new interview he discussed why he thinks the Warriors have been so successful this season and disclosed that he has been cooking up some new music with Cleveland Cavaliers player Iman Shumpert, who moonlights as a rapper.

The choice to work with Iman started with their connection last season. The Cavs were in the finals last year and the team almost got cursed for stealing Lil B's cooking dance, but Shump came out and acknowledged who created the dance and saved the team from their non-basketball doom.

Shump has been on the mend from a wrist injury this season, so there has been time for them to get together. "Definitely look out, me and Iman Shumpert got some music coming," he says. "He definitely respects the Warriors and respects what's going down in the Bay Area."

The Warriors streak is no surprise to Lil B however and it comes from a source that he knows all too well. "The whole Bay Area is just so positive energy because the Warriors are just playing their hearts out right now."

Lil B is still waiting on Kevin Durant to play him in a one-on-one match, which is the only way the curse will be lifted. Going into the match the Based God has been reading up on the NBA rules to make sure he plays the fairest game he can.
