Jennifer Lawrence, Hollywood's current sweetheart, and Amy Schumer, an icon for women in comedy everywhere, have had a pretty entertaining friendship. The two are even planning on writing a screenplay together (very welcome news after Schumer's successful film Trainwreck). Now, the two have been nominated for the same category (best performance by an actress in a motion picture, musical, or comedy) at the 2015 Golden Globes and have decided to wear matching dresses to the awards ceremony.

The act serves not only to solidify their bond, and lack of acrimony or competition over the award, but also to represent a new age in Hollywood. Actresses are no longer rivals, vying for roles in an industry that undervalues their talents after a certain age. Now, according to Vulture, the two have bucked the trend and decided to satirize the expected apparel and appearance of red carpet participants.

"We're going to try to figure out to wear the exact same thing," Lawrence said. "That's my mission. I really want us to wear the same thing."

As many know, Jennifer Lawrence is the face of Dior, so it is safe to assume the two will be draped in Dior's latest look. Although J. Law represents the influential fashion company, it's clear that she will be making fun of the hierarchy of fashion that is judged on the red carpet at award events such as the Golden Globes. "Who is she wearing?" is a question that will likely not be asked about the two upcoming costars.

Speaking of Schumer, Lawrence said, "She's going to have to wear Dior. I'm just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they're making for me."

The pair's friendship has entertained fans and press members for months, as the two have been caught jet-skiing together, and purposefully falling in front of cameras to mess with the press.
