Actress Jennifer Lawrence recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter for their special edition of the Actress Roundtable and revealed she got "really, really drunk" and kissed a married man. While The Hunger Games star's announcement might come as a shock, her sticky situation isn't exactly what it seems.

Before filming her first sex scene in a film, Lawrence decided the best way to prepare herself and slip into character would be to load up on some liquid courage. The 25-year-old stars alongside Chris Pratt in their forthcoming science fiction romance movie, Passengers.

Just to clarify, this is a standard looks like it happened but the actors really didn't do it Hollywood sex scene, but the scene was still a big deal for Lawrence. Despite consuming an immense amount of alcoholic beverages, they ultimately didn't help her nerves. Describing the entire ordeal as "bizarre" and "weird," Lawrence left the scene feeling defenseless.

"I got really, really drunk," Lawrence told The Hollywood Reporter. "But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know.' And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach."

Pratt, who starred in the box-office hit Jurassic World, is married to actress Anna Farris. The couple exchanged vows in 2009 and have a three-year-old son named Jack.

Passengers is a story that surrounds a spacecraft, carrying thousands of people, and is headed toward a far away planet, according to IMDB. One of the sleeper chambers malfunctions, awakening a single passenger (Pratt) 60 years before his expected time. In fear of growing old and dying alone, the passenger decides to wake up another passenger (Lawrence).

"And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that," Lawrence told The Hollywood Reporter. "So I called my mom, and I was like, 'Will you just tell me it's OK?' It was just very vulnerable. And you don't know what's too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then…that was the most vulnerable I've ever been."
