It looks like Tim Hightower is the top-ranked waiver wire pickup this week, mainly due to the New Orleans Saints' injured running back Mark Ingram sitting out this week. Ingram shared a photo update after the surgery on his left shoulder was completed last week, which has Hightower as the top hand-off target for Drew Brees this week.

Another top choice for replacing a RB this week is DuJuan Harris, especially after Thomas Rawls' ankle injury. Like Hightower, Harris is taking over the hand-off opportunities in week 15, making him a top pickup off of the waiver wire.

If you're lucky, you picked up these backups when you had the starters on your lineup, and now you're sitting pretty thanks to that strategy. If not, good luck!

Options for wide receivers are plentiful as well. Fantasy Pros ranks Tyler Lockett, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Markus Wheaton high up this week, so grab them if you can!

NFL.com's rankings are pretty similar, but other options like Darren Sproles, Cameron Artis-Payne, Ted Ginn, Kamar Aiken, and more are mentioned.
