Following the release of his highly successful debut album, Bryson Tiller has announced his upcoming Trap Soul tour. Next month, the Louisville crooner will hit the road for tour dates across North America.
The 34-date tour is slated to kick off in Portland on Jan. 24. From there, Tiller will hit Seattle, Las Vegas, Miami, Atlanta, New York and Philadelphia. He will even make a stop in Toronto before finishing off in his Kentucky hometown on March 12. He will be joined by special guest THEY.
Tiller’s T R A P S O U L album hit No. 4 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums with 24,000 copies sold and reached No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Following its release, the singer/songwriter received a cosign from Timbaland and was even offered an opportunity to sign with Drake’s OVO Sound, which he turned down.
As previously reported, Tiller admitted that passing on Drake's offer was a tough decision.
“It was hard for me,” he said. "That was one of the biggest decisions I ever had to make in my life. I’m super naïve when it comes to making business decisions. I signed to two independent labels before and neither of them worked out. This time, I had a whole team… We talked to 40 about it and even 40 was like, ‘This is not a bad deal from RCA’ so we just did it.”
So far, Tiller has cultivated a pretty solid following, including Rambo actor Sylvester Stallone, who promoted Tiller’s track named after the film on Twitter.
