Getting in the holiday spirit, Coheed and Cambria members have covered a winter classic: "White Christmas." Coheed frontman Claudio Sanchez, along with the help of the group's guitarist Travis Stever and Sanchez's wife Chondra  offered up their own unique rendition on the beloved track.

"I do, however, enjoy when it snows on the holiday or around the holidays," Sanchez explained to Rolling Stone of his Christmas song selection. He continued to detail that his favorite part of the holiday is the lights, weather and spending time with friends and family. On the subject of food, "My favorite is stuffing - bring on the carbs!" Sanchez added.

The "White Christmas" take trails behind the frontman's cover of Adele's wildly successful 25 track, "Hello." Instead of delivering a gripping performance with theatrical vocals, Sanchez offers an intimate, acoustic version of the fan-favorite tune.

This October, Coheed and Cambria released their latest studio album, The Color Before the Sun, putting their ongoing sci-fi concept that's outlined their entire musical career, behind them. "The Armory Wars" has unfolded since the groups debut album in 2002, The Second Stage Turbine Blade, through 2013's release of The Afterman: Decension.

"I kind of want people to know that Coheed can write that sort of record," he said in a statement, speaking of the switch of direction. "I've always said in the past that there's never been a limitation on the band. It makes no sense to me to draw a line in the sand and never cross it."
