Some of our favorite artists released a bunch of great music this past week so we'd like to share our favorites with you in mixtape-form. Just like every week, we've compiled new songs from the previous week in case you missed them. This time around we have new tunes from Kite Party, Hooray For Earth, Kristeen Young and many more!

There's no denying our love for Tigers Jaw and the indie rock group's upcoming album Charmer. Our latest taste of the new record premiered this week in the form of the rocker "Slow Come On," which features departing member Adam McIlwee on vocals in one of the last songs he'll provide for the Scranton, PA, band.

RIYL: Title Fight, Nirvana, Donovan Wolfington

One of the most fun songs of the week came from New York quartet Hooray For Earth, which debuted "Keys" for our listening pleasure. The first single off of the upcoming album Racy, this speaker-shattering dance number has us so excited for everything this band is doing in 2014.

RIYL: MGMT, Grizzly Bear, Washed Out

Sharon Van Etten is known for her brooding, dark numbers but the closing track of her upcoming album Are We There showcases more humor than we'd expect. Entitled "Every Time the Sun Comes Up," the song remains sincere-yet-goofy as Etten croons over folk guitars.

RIYL: Maria Taylor, Haley Bonar, Cat Power

Kite Party's new release Come On Wandering will definitely appear on some of our top albums of 2014 lists. You can stream the album in its entirety over at Spin, but check out the opening track "Bell" right here!

RIYL: Interpol, U2 (circa Boy or War)

Want to hear some fun covers? Of course you do! Check out Skaters fun cover of The Smiths right here. Plus, here's Thurston Moore, Iggy Pop and Nick Cave banding together to cover Gun Club!

"Fade White" is the latest song from LA electronica artist Will Wiesenfeld, a.k.a Baths. As part of his upcoming Ocean Death EP, this new ballad brings an upbeat feel to a release described as being based on "death, apathy, and loneliness."

RIYL: Owen, Antlers, Postal Service

When mentioning a band of sisters one would most likely think of California rockers HAIM; but Hockeysmith is ready to redefine what HAIM has constructed. With a more ambitious and industrial approach to songwriting, "Hesitate" is a great taste of what kind of impressive music can come out of a bond between sisters.

RIYL: Polica, Promise Ring

Avan Lana's Drew Cilton and Frankie Rose have banded together to lead the new fuzz-surf rock outfit Beverly. The band's second single, "You Can't Get it Right" definitely got it right in our minds.

RIYL: Vivian Girls, Dum Dum Girl, Wavves

Easily one of the most exciting emerging artists of 2014 is Kristeen Young, who worked with Dave Grohl on her debut LP The Knife Shift. Grohl recently spoke to Billbaord about his excitement for Young's album and this week's release of the single "The Pictures of Sasha Grey" have us looking forward to it as well!

RIYL: a mix of St. Vincent and the B-52s

Give this week's mixtape to a friend that needs a little boost in their life. This will surely do the trick.
