Star Wars: The Force Awakens has already broken box office records in North America, becoming the No. 1 film of all-time with $764.4 million, surpassing James Cameron's Avatar. However it is still competing with Avatar abroad and to do so it will need to conquer the Chinese market. To do so, Disney has tabbed the "Justin Bieber of China," LuHan, known for his boyish good looks and legions of young female fans who follow him around, to provide an anthem for the movie.

Aptly titled "Inner Force," LuHan's effort is an upbeat dance-pop crossover track with some cheesy vocals like "Tonight I'm gonna rock this place / wanna feel that 808," but it does the trick in making Star Wars appeal to a young and especially important female audience.

The track is primarily in Chinese, but switches to some English in the hook. It takes footage from the trailer and interpolates it with clips of LuHan in an abandoned factory dancing alone and signing the words to the song.

LuHan has featured prominently in the marketing for Star Wars: The Force Awakens in China. The 25 year-old pop singer was named an honorary member of the "Jedi Order" in China in March and has been a big part of the local advertising, beyond this new music video according to Billboard.

The video serves as last minute promo for the grand opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in China on Saturday, Jan. 9. It is now the world's second largest film market and the final territory where Star Wars will finally open. Overseas, Star Wars only just eclipsed the $800 million mark, but with the rollout in China coming, observers predict it will crack $2 billion with a chance to break Avatar's mark of $2.78 billion worldwide.
