Electric Daisy Carnival's British outpost, EDC UK, has announced its 2016 lineup. As one might expect from an Insomniac promoted Electric Daisy Carnival, there are some pretty big names who will be taking over the famous Milton Keynes Bowl this summer. The mainstage will be populated with the likes of Martin Garrix, Avicii, Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Eric Prydz.

Also included on the Kinetic Field, which serves as the main stage, are Oliver Heldens, Robin Schulz and Martin Solveig. A special guest on the stage has yet to be named.

The Cosmic Meadow will play host to Insomniac's trance brand Dreamstate, which has seen a growing presence at the various festival properties owned by the California-based EDM event brand. It started with stand-alone two-day events and has turned into a brand that is going global through Insomniac's festivals.

Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Markus Schulz, Ilan Bluestone, Simon O'Shine, Andy Moor and Standerwick will all perform, plus Ferry Corsten will make an appearance as part of his resurgence with the Gouryella moniker.

The Bassrush stage in the United States has a strong dubstep and trap feel to it, but since this is in the UK, they have gone with almost all drum n bass with additions like Pendulum (just a DJ set), Sigma, Caspa back-to-back with Ruska, Goldie MBE, Friction and Noisia.

The eclectic neonGarden will host a variety of different acts ranging from Duke Dumont to Galantis to DJ EZ to Jauz. There is a bit of everything for those who want to get away from the crowds.

EDC UK will take place on only one day - Saturday, July 9. Tickets are on sale now through the EDC UK website.
