Parquet Courts, the New York City band inspiring a resurgence of guitar-oriented rock, are set to drop album Human Performance  on April 8 release via Rough Trade. They've rolled out a video for the album's opening track, "Dust," and are embarking on tour to support it all.

On Wedensday, a Rough Trade Instagram video showed a mural of the band's album artwork going up in their Bushwick, Brooklyn neighborhood, according to Pitchfork. Parquet Courts also visited WFUV for an in-studio performance of "Dust" and "Outside," which went live on YouTube on Wednesday.

Parquet Courts are truly one of the most exciting rock bands to come around in the 2010s -- they meld the minimalism and ease of punk with an accessible sound and humorously straightforward yet poignant lyrics.

"Dust" is a perfect example; the refrain simply repeats, "Dust is everywhere -- sweep." Check out video below in which an office worker drinks dust while having visions of a demonic dustman.

And catch band's performance of "Outside" on WFUV. Scroll down to find the full tracklist as well as the dates for the first leg of the band's tour, which hits major markets such as Philadelphia, Washington and their hometown, New York.
