The 47th annual NAACP Image Awards will air tonight, Feb. 5, on TV One. The star-studded event is set to honor community leaders, educators and entertainment greats like R&B artist, TyreseViola Davis, Michael B. Jordan and more.

The celebration of achievements was taped in Pasadena, CA and will broadcast for the world to experience and enjoy the two-hour star-studded event on Friday night, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m., according to The Wrap. Fans can anticipate who the winners will be in each of the ten different categories, all related to television; film and music; honoring entertainment greats who shine both in front of, and behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.

Returning as this year's host is actor/comedian Anthony Anderson, who's sitcom, Black-Ish, is among the top leading shows nominated in multiple categories this year; along with How To Get Away With Murder, Scandal, American Crime and Empire, according to News One. Two of the cast members of Empire are also nominated in their own stand alone category, according to the site. Jussie Smollet and Yazz (Bryshere Y. Gray) are nominated in the music Outstanding New Artist category amongst three other nominees - Andra Day, Judith Hill and The Weekend.

Preceding the event is the Live from the Red Carpet pre-show with former Entertainment Tonight host Terrence Jenkins and CEO of Edmonds Entertainment Group, Tracey Edmonds. The pre-show will begin at 8 p.m., according to an Image Awards press release.

In addition to the winners set to be revealed tonight, there were also several winners who received early awards during a non-televised dinner at the Pasadena Conference Center hosted by Affion Crockett and Nischelle Turner, according to The Wrap. Among the list of early winners were, Mike Epps, who took home an Image Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in Comedy Series category for his former role in the STARZ orginal series, Survivor's Remorse. Also, listed as early winners were, Regina King (Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, American Crime); Joe Morton (Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Scandal); Queen Latifah (Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini- Series, or Dramatic Special, Bessie); and David Alan Grier (Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Mini- Series, or Dramatic Special, The Wiz Live!)

Other great categories to look forward to include Entertainer of the Year (Nominees: Michael B. Jordan, Misty Copeland, Pharrell Williams, Shonda Rhimes and Viola Davis) and Outstanding Motion Picture (Nominees: Beasts of No Nation, Concussion, Creed, Dope, Straight Outta Compton.)
